It is with deep regret that we publish this report. We do not take this responsibility lightly, as the consequences of the following observations are of such great import and have such far-reaching ramifications for the entire planet. The Gulf of Mexico (GOM) does not exist in isolation and is, in fact, connected to the Seven Seas. Hence, we publish these findings in order that the world community will come together to further contemplate this dire and demanding predicament. We also do so with the hope that an appropriate global response will be formulated, and acted upon, for the sake of future generations. It is the most basic responsibility for every civilization to leave their world in a better condition than that which they inherited from their forbears.

After conducting the Gulf Oil Spill Remediation Conference for over seven months, we can now disseminate the following information with the authority and confidence of those who have thoroughly investigated a crime scene. There are many research articles, investigative reports and penetrating exposes archived at the following website. Particularly those posted from August through November provide a unique body of evidence, many with compelling photo-documentaries, which portray the true state of affairs at the Macondo Prospect in the GOM.

UK Government Swine Flu MediaTerror Campaign

Here we go again. Swine Flu Terror UK is currently in full swing with an epidemic shortly to occur, announces the UK mainstream media. Get yourselves vaccinated immediately because if you don't you may very well DIE, they trumpet. In all these current media reports, it invariably states, “It is not known how many of these cases are swine flu." But hey, never let the facts get in the way of a good story though, eh?
Cynics have speculated that the UK government has massive stocks of flu vaccine to shift and what with the electorate (especially medical professionals) deeply reluctant to get jabbed with the vaccine for the very best of educated reasons, a media campaign has been mounted to sensationalise dodgy flu statistics in order to shift the product. Could they be right?
The UK Department of Health mantra relates that there are approximately 12,000 deaths from influenza every year. In the United States, flu deaths are reported from a low of about 3,300 deaths to a high of 49,000 per year. Very few deaths are ever proven to have been caused by flu alone.
What we write today is in no way intended to minimise the loss of life tragedy through flu, but simply an attempt to put the media reports into context. More old people have died from hyperthermia in recent winters than the flu - probably due to impossibly high heating bills. It is a great shame that there is not more focus on this rather than flu deaths.
As Dr Tom Lakering writes in The Aspen Times : "A systematic review of 51 studies involving 260,000 children age 6 to 23 months found no evidence that the flu vaccine is any more effective than a placebo in that group. A JAMA study showed the incidence of clinical influenza in the vaccinated group was 2 percent but in the un-vaccinated group it was only 3 percent. This means that out of 100 people, one person was attributed with avoiding the flu because of the vaccine."

Pharmaceutical Industry Propaganda

During the flu season last year, the then UK Chief Medical Officer Liam Donaldson fed the mainstream media the story of 65,000 deaths scheduled to occur from Swine Flu. Ably promoted by the pharmaceutical industry, vaccine branch in particular, panic ensued as the media irresponsibly flooded their front pages with every single Swine Flu case that occurred, courtesy of the sinister UK government lobby groups, Sense About Science and The Science Media Centre both funded by Pharma. As we all know, Donaldson's predictions were UK Health Department sensationalist crap.
From those Vaccine/Tamiflu centres whose staff included previously unemployed teenagers armed with cue cards, to the incredible financial loss endured by the British economy as the government overreacted to a Swine Flu 'Pandemic' that never materialised, the UK government and the media conjoined to hit new heights in fear marketing.
Oh the pharmaceutical profits bonanza that ensued followed swiftly by the billions of taxpayers’ money flushed down the toilet as the vaccines were either palmed off on the Third World or destroyed as they reached their sell-by-date. And lest we forget, the adverse reactions to the flu vaccine such as paralysis from Guillain-Barre Syndrome and worse.
Last winter it was reported by Professor Maria Zambon, director of the HPA's centre for infection, that thousands of British children may have had Swine Flu without even knowing it, so mild was the illness.

Researchers have shown for the first time that the human fetal immune system arises from an entirely different source than the adult immune system. The finding could lead to a better understanding of why many newborns are born with impairments due to toxic overloads from mothers who chose to be vaccinated during their pregnancy.

It also could help scientists better understand how childhood allergies develop, as well as how to manage adult organ transplants, the researchers said. The findings are described in the Dec. 17 issue of Science. Until now, the fetal and infant immune system had been thought to be simply an immature form of the adult system, one that responds differently because of a lack of exposure to immune threats from the environment. The new research has unveiled an entirely different immune system in the fetus at mid-term that is derived from a completely different set of stem cells than the adult system.
"In the fetus, we found that there is an immune system whose job it is to teach the fetus to be tolerant of everything it sees, including its mother and its own organs," said Joseph M. McCune, MD, PhD, a professor in the UCSF Division of Experimental Medicine who is a co-senior author on the paper. "After birth, a new immune system arises from a different stem cell that instead has the job of fighting everything foreign."

A remarkable study published in the Cochrane Library found no evidence of benefit for influenza vaccinations and also noted that the vast majority of trials were inadequate.

The authors stated that the only ones showing benefit were industry-funded. They also pointed out that the industry-funded studies were more likely to be published in the most prestigious journals...and one more thing: They found cases of severe harm caused by the vaccines, in spite of inadequate reporting of adverse effects.

The study, "Vaccines for preventing influenza in healthy adults", is damning of the entire pharmaceutical industry and its minions, the drug testing industry and the medical system that relies on them.

Merck Sponsored Study Returns Dubious Gardasil Autoimmune Safety Results

A new Merck funded study has concluded that Merck’s controversial Gardasil HPV vaccine poses no risk for developing autoimmune conditions. The conclusions come as no surprise to those who have seen other self-serving results from other Merck funded studies, many of which were later proven false or misleading. Ironically, shortly after Merck announced the study results the FDA approved the addition of an autoimmune related disease to the side effects listed for another HPV vaccine.

Surge seen only in Sweden and Finland

Forty one children and young people in Finland who were vaccinated for the H1N1, or swine flu virus last winter have been diagnosed with narcolepsy. In addition, there have been a few cases of the disease in which there was no record of a swine flu vaccination.
      Sweden and Finland are the only two countries to report a surge in narcolepsy the same vaccine was used in Canada, where there were only a few cases of the disease.

Narcolepsy has been on the increase in Finland in the past ten years, but not among such young patients. The symptoms of the young victims have been more severe than usual.
      “Kataplexy, the sudden loss of muscle tone in connection with a strong emotional state, has not been this common before”, says child neurologist Outi Saarenpää-Heikkilä of the Tampere University Hospital.
      “The symptoms are complicated and they are more severe than before. We have to learn how to treat it, because the medicines have not been intended for children, and they should not be used too easily. Older patients suffer most from personality changes - irritability and fits of rage. Going to school becomes impossible for some, and social life becomes more narrow.”

Although the increase in cases of narcolepsy coincides with the vaccines, there is still some question as to whether or not it was actually the cause.
      The question was analysed on Monday when families affected by the disease and public health officials met at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The families had little doubt about the connection, and blasted last winter’s vaccinations as a complete failure, which only benefited the manufacturers.

A modern history lesson

The British government decided to introduce a new national vaccination programme. The purpose was to prevent deaths from cervical cancer in the future, of which, we were informed, the cause is mostly HPV virus infections. It was to be given in schools to 12 year old girls - also doctors' surgeries for a catch-up programme to teenage girls.

The government had a choice of 2 brand names from 2 manufacturers.

May 2008

The Department of Health, with newly printed publicity material entitled "Beating Cervical Cancer - the Facts", circulated 50,000 copies via GPs and Primary Care Trusts and posted it online. Note: the facts and figures about side effects were false. It was soon posted online by numerous NHS Trusts nationwide! Other leaflets gave even less information about known side effects and described them as

"quite mild."

Meanwhile, local authority education chiefs and PCT chiefs sent out letters to parents at the end of the summer term 2008, requesting parental consent. Note: under Gillick law, parental consent would not be required, even for 12 year olds.

Recent data presented to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advisory Committee on Children's Vaccines has revealed some shocking information about the effects of the H1N1 / swine flu vaccine on pregnant women. According to the report, the rate of miscarriage among pregnant women during the 2009 H1N1 / swine flu pandemic soared by over 700 percent compared to previous years, pointing directly to the vaccine as the culprit -- but the CDC denies the truth and continues to insist nobody has been harmed.

According to the CDC, nearly 50 percent of all pregnant women were vaccinated with the H1N1 vaccine during the 2009 / 2010 influenza season. Those whose physicians instructed them to get a seasonal flu shot were three times more likely to get it, while those instructed specifically to get the H1N1 shot were ten times more likely to get it. And the numbers clearly show that along with the rise in vaccinations due to the H1N1 scare came the sharp increase in miscarriages, including a slew of actual reported adverse events.

But the CDC does not seem to care about the facts, as numerous reports indicate the agency has failed to report any of this vital information to vaccine suppliers. In fact, when presented with the data for the third time, Dr. Marie McCormick, chair of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Vaccine Risk and Assessment Working Group, actually had the audacity to claim that there were no vaccine-related adverse events in pregnant women caused by the vaccine.

"This baseless and fallacious assessment by the CDC assessment group has given the green light to the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to continue their recommendation to give the 2010/11 flu shot to all people, including pregnant women," explained Eileen Dannemann, director of the National Coalition of Organized Women, presenter of the information.

"This upcoming 2010/11 flu vaccine contains the same elements that are implicated in the killing of these fetuses, the H1N1 viral component and the neurotoxin mercury (Thimerosal). Additionally, it contains two other viral strains -- a three-in-one shot for all people."

The active ingredient in marijuana cuts tumor growth in common lung cancer in half and significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, say researchers at Harvard University who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies.

They say this is the first set of experiments to show that the compound, Delta-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), inhibits EGF-induced growth and migration in epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) expressing non-small cell lung cancer cell lines. Lung cancers that over-express EGFR are usually highly aggressive and resistant to chemotherapy.
THC that targets cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 is similar in function to endocannabinoids, which are cannabinoids that are naturally produced in the body and activate these receptors. The researchers suggest that THC or other designer agents that activate these receptors might be used in a targeted fashion to treat lung cancer.
"The beauty of this study is that we are showing that a substance of abuse, if used prudently, may offer a new road to therapy against lung cancer," said Anju Preet, Ph.D., a researcher in the Division of Experimental Medicine.

I am a single mother of four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. We live in Lake Station, Indiana. Before my oldest daughter Zeda got sick, we had a normal life. I worked a full-time job. 13 year old Zeda was a cheerleader and straight A student. She was also a big help to me with my other children.

I have always done my best to keep my kids healthy. I had them get their wellness check-ups and they always got whatever vaccines the doctor suggested. All my kids were completely healthy, other than the simple colds here and there. Completely healthy, that is, until it was time for Zeda's well visit on November 5th, 2008. And then her life, as she knew it, completely changed along with the rest of our family.

They are never let out to exercise, they never see the light of day or feel grass on their feet. When they no longer produce fine wool, they are slaughtered.
Australia is undoubtedly a country known for its utter contempt for sheep. From the brutal live sheep export trade, where millions of Australian sheep are savagely slaughtered in the likes of the Middle East, to the crude hacking of flesh from the backsides of lambs(mulesing) and of course this issue, the cruel practice of intensively penning sheep for their fleece. Australia's abuse and exploitation of sheep is never ending.

The Effects of Microwave Ovens on Food and Humans

Microwave cooking ovens were originally researched and developed by German scientists to support mobile operations during the invasion of the Soviet Union. Had they perfected electronic equipment to prepare meals on a mass scale, the Nazis could have eliminated the logistical problems connected with cooking fuels while producing edible products in far less time than they could using traditional campfires.

After the war, the Allies discovered the medical research and documentation concerning those apparatuses. The papers and experimental microwave equipment were transferred to the U.S. War Department and classified for reference and scientific investigation. The Soviet Union also retrieved some of the devices and began an experiment on them separately. The Russians – who have done the most diligent research into the biological effects of microwave ovens – have OUTLAWED THEIR USE and issued an international warning about the biological and environmental damage that can result form the use of this and similar-frequency electronic apparatus.

Medical Research Summary

The most significant German research concerned with the biological effects of microwaves was done at the Humboldt Universitat zu Berlin in 1942-43, during the Barbarossa military campaign. Beginning in 1957 and continuing up to the present, Russian studies in the field have been conducted at the Institute of Radio Technology. In most research, the foods were exposed to microwave propagation at an energy potential of 100 kilowatts per cubic centimeter per second to the point considered acceptable for sanitary normal ingestion. The observations made by the German and Russian microwave researchers will be presented here in three categories: cancer-causing effects, destruction of nutritive value and biological effects of direct exposure of humans to microwave emissions.

It is in fact a functioning body, a Commission, created by the Food and Agricultural Organization and the World Health Organization under the direction of the United Nations. The confusion in this regard is largely due to statements made by many critics referring to the “implementation” of Codex Alimentarius as if it were legislation waiting to come into effect. A more accurate phrase would be the “implementation of Codex Alimentarius guidelines,” as it would more adequately describe the situation.

Codex is merely another tool in the chest of an elite group of individuals whose goal is to create a one world government in which they wield complete control. Power over the food supply is essential in order to achieve this. As will be discussed later, Codex Alimentarius will be “implemented” whenever guidelines are established and national governments begin to arrange their domestic laws in accordance with the standards set by the organization.

The existence of Codex Alimentarius as a policy-making body has roots going back over a hundred years. The name itself, Codex Alimentarius, is Latin for “food code”[1] and directly descended from the Codex Alimentarius Austriacus, a set of standards and descriptions of a variety of foods in the Austria-Hungarian Empire between 1897 and 1911.[2] This set of standards was the brainchild of both the food industry and academia and was used by the courts in order to determine food identity in a legal fashion.

I had heard of a woman who made up ant poison from aspartame, and since we in Florida were being invaded by ants, I decided to make up some ant poison of my own. I decided the best way to get them to eat it was by mixing it with raw honey. I mixed roughly 3 or 4 parts raw honey to 1 part aspartame (Nutrasweet from the supermarket) and put it out in a toy baby saucer for them.

Sure enough, pretty soon, the saucer was FULL of dead ants.

Later on, I put a small amount straight onto the floor. But this time, I got quite a shock when later on I glanced at the mixture. The ants had done something VERY strange to it!

Newark, New Jersey (CNN) -- Of the 84,000 chemicals on the market today -- many of which are in objects that people come into contact with every day -- only about 1 percent of them have been studied for safety, Sen. Frank Lautenberg said Tuesday.

Lautenberg, D-New Jersey, told a hearing of the Senate Subcommittee on Superfund, Toxics and Environmental Health that such little oversight means that children in the United States are virtual "guinea pigs in an uncontrolled experiment."

"Our current law does not allow EPA [Environmental Protection Agency] scientists to draw the bright line between chemicals that are safe and those that are toxic," the senator said in the hearing, which was held at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in his home state.

Lautenberg has introduced legislation that would require chemical manufacturers to prove the safety of their products before they're released into the market. He said the current law -- the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 -- is too lax, resulting in the banning of five chemicals in the past 34 years

The subcommittee is examining how chemicals that Americans are exposed to in daily life might be harming the health of children, including those developing in the womb, after a growing number of studies are finding hundreds of toxic chemicals in the bodies of mothers, and subsequently, in their babies after birth.

Secret documents reveal that government-funded experts were warned nearly 30 years ago that tranquillisers that were later prescribed to millions of people could cause brain damage.
The Medical Research Council (MRC) agreed in 1982 that there should be large-scale studies to examine the long-term impact of benzodiazepines after research by a leading psychiatrist showed brain shrinkage in some patients similar to the effects of long-term alcohol abuse.
However, no such work was ever carried out into the effects of drugs such as Valium, Mogadon and Librium – and doctors went on prescribing them to patients for anxiety, stress, insomnia and muscle spasms.
MPs and lawyers described the documents as a scandal, and predicted they could lead the way to a class action costing millions. There are an estimated 1.5 million “involuntary addicts” in the UK, and scores display symptoms consistent with brain damage.
The MRC hosted a meeting of eminent experts and government representatives in 1981 after research by Malcolm Lader, now emeritus professor of the Institute of Psychiatry, showed brain shrinkage occurred in some benzodiazepine patients.
Recommendations to carry out studies to examine long-term problems associated with these drugs, which GPs prescribed more than 20 million times last year, were accepted by the MRC Neurosciences Board in January 1982.

In its annual State of Health Care Quality report, the organization revealed that vaccine rates are falling sharply among high-education families.

This story begins at a company called HiFi DNA Tech, LLC a company involved in the manufacture of portable HPV testing devices based on DNA sequencing analysis. HiFi DNA Tech has been pushing to get the FDA to classify its HPV detection technology as a "Class II" virology testing device. To understand why this is a big deal, you have to understand the differences between "Class II" and "Class III" virology testing devices.

Based on FDA rules, a Class III virology testing device is one that is considered by the FDA to have "premarket approval," meaning that it cannot yet be sold to the public. In order for such a device to be marketed to the public, it must be downgraded to Class II status, which is considered a "special controls" status. Class II devices are, "...those devices for which the general controls by themselves are insufficient to provide reasonable assurance of safety and effectiveness, but for which there is sufficient information to establish special controls to provide such assurance, including performance standards, postmarket surveillance, patient registries, development and dissemination of guidelines, recommendations, and any other appropriate actions the agency deems necessary."

In other words, a Class II device may or may not actually be safe, but the FDA considers is safe enough to release to the public.

HiFi DNA Tech has been trying to get its HPV detection device downgraded to a Class II device based on the following arguments:

• For more than 20 years, the FDA had regulated the HPV test as a "test for cervical cancer."

• But since at least 2003, the FDA has changed its position on the relationship between Human Papilloma Virus and cervical cancer, stating that the HPV strain is "not associated with cervical cancer."

• Accordingly, HiFi DNA Tech is arguing that the HPV test it has developed is no longer a test for cervical cancer, but is merely a test for the presence of Human Papilloma Viruses -- a shift that makes the test far more reliable in its primary purpose. In other words, the test is merely detecting the presence of a virus, not making a diagnosis of a disease (which would be a much higher standard to meet).

As winter rolls in, it’s time for those flu vaccinations again. I know because my own father will go and get his shot to make sure he is protected from this deadly virus that kills thousands each year. Or so we are told.
We hear various numbers banded about as to seasonal flu related deaths. The government website direct.gov.uk states “flu contributes to over 25,000 excess winter deaths every year and thousands of people are hospitalized due to serious complications.” They also advise that everybody get a flu vaccination as “many children and adults under the age of 65 are putting themselves at just as much risk to the effects of the virus.” In the US the CDC puts the yearly death toll at 36,000.
But how accurate are these figures? The CDC in America admits that their figure is obtained using a statistical model, because actually collecting all the relevant information is impossible. They also do not distinguish between flu deaths and flu associated deaths. According to the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), “influenza and pneumonia” took 62,034 lives in 2001—61,777 of which were attributed to pneumonia and 257 to flu, and in only 18 cases was the flu virus positively identified. So flu killed only 18 people?
The American lung association however, keep very detailed reports on flu deaths. In 2006 the death toll was 849. So a lot less than the 36,000 that is repeated yearly. So if 849 people die each year in the US then it has to be less here right?
Well we don’t actually know, because there are no detailed figures published that I can find, only various numbers banded about, such as the above 25,000. At present I have a freedom of information request going through regarding these figures.

Teenage girls are being bribed with high street shopping vouchers to receive a highly controversial vaccine.

A health trust is promising them £45 in tokens for stores such as HMV, Argos and Debenhams if they agree to the cervical cancer jab, which protects against a sexually-transmitted virus that can cause tumours.

Opponents say the vaccine - dubbed the 'promiscuity jab' - encourages girls to have sex earlier than they would.

Only last week the government said it could not afford to fund Labour's pledge that all cancer victims should have one-to-one nursing care and one-week access to diagnostic tests.

The shopping voucher scheme is being run by Birmingham East and North primary care trust, and costs around £22,500 a year.

It offers 'Love to Shop' vouchers to girls aged 16 to 18 which can be spent at high street stores. They receive a total of £45 worth of vouchers for turning up for all three injections against the HPV virus.

The study, conducted at the University Medical Center, Groningen, in the Netherlands, also suggested that low levels of vitamin D are associated with activation of the Renin Angiotensin System (RAS – a pivotal regulatory system in heart failure) and an altered cytokine profile.

Vitamin D concentration was assessed in plasma samples from 548 heart failure patients. According to the researchers, patients with lower concentrations had a higher risk of death or required re-hospitalization, whereas patients with higher concentrations had lower survival risks for these endpoints.

I haven't heard this although Dr. James Bowen once told me every once in awhile they add it in some markets to see if people an tell. Dr. Bowen has ALS from aspartame and like most aspartame victims is chemically hypersensitive for life. An aspartame victim can always tell when aspartame is in a product, labeled or not.

The problem is the manufacturers know aspartame is addictive. Like in the case of Mars I called them and asked if aspartame were in their products and they told me "yes, in Mars Bars". I said, "But its not labeled," and they said, its under natural flavors. I tried one and sure enough immediately got a headache.

Because of the chemical hypersensitization I tell aspartame victims over and over never to use processed foods because this and MSG are so often hidden.

As to soda, you have to remember that the National Soft Drink Association (now American Beverage) wrote a 33 page protest which was put in the congressional record.

PATIENTS who refused to have the swine flu jab last year will be vaccinated against it anyway during this autumn’s seasonal flu campaign.

Health officials have said this year’s jab will protect against three types of flu including H1N1 or swine flu.

The decision was made after scientists said swine flu will still be circulating this winter and could pose a threat to health.

But many patients may be left feeling upset that a vaccine they did not want to have has been combined with one they did.

Announcing the annual flu campaign yesterday, officials also said that pregnant women would be offered the seasonal flu jab for the first time to protect them against swine flu.

Pregnant women were hit particularly hard by the H1N1 virus and experts are keen to protect as many as possible before further winter outbreaks.

However anti-vaccine campaigners said it was not fair to force patients to be vaccinated against swine flu if they only wanted protection against the other two. Jackie Fletcher from the vaccine campaign group JABS said: “At the very least there should be consumer choice so that patients can get what they want rather than this one-size fits all.

“We also want to know that the Department of Health carefully examine every adverse reaction to swine flu jabs, so we can be reassured the jab is safe”.

Gates has followed in the footsteps of the Rockefellers' lead to usher the New Green Revolution, an aggressive onslaught of genetically modified seeds (GMOs) to increase large scale corporate-influenced agriculture in Africa, India and elsewhere. The international GMO initiatives have devastated small cooperative farms that have served as the lifeline of food for centuries and as resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of farmers. These chemicals are similar to detergents in their ability to increase cell permeability, damage, and bursting. After injection they can rapidly metabolize into sorbitol and ethylene oxide which is much more toxic than the original chemical. When Polysorbate 80 breaks down there are 20 moles of ethylene oxide for every mole of sorbitol. These polysorbates have been shown to cause dangerous, sometimes fatal effects, when given through a needle. Changes in heart function can occur immediately. The blood-brain-barrier (BBB) can be weakened and penetrated, followed by seizures and even death. Anaphylactic and other reactions can occur. The other day I was looking at recent photos from from a younger relative’s album, and I noticed something as I turned page after page of the smiling faces of their friends. Something jumped out at me immediately as being painfully and obviously wrong. In every picture, every one of these smiling teenagers had brown and yellow teeth. Not one good white set amongst them and yet these are all middle class families with good dental hygiene. All of those handsome young adults’ smiles were destroyed by discoloured enamel. I was shocked and decided to investigate because this was not how I remember teeth when I was growing up, nor is it what I see from people I meet from other countries.

What I was seeing was the results of a lifetime of drinking fluoridated water, from the bottle to the pint. The staining, flaking and pitting of the teeth enamel caused by the interference in the laying down of the enamel layers during the formation of the teeth by the compound commonly known as Fluoride, that is added to our water supply. Now it is an age old adage that the teeth are a window into the health of the body, Slave traders would always check the teeth of a potential purchase. So is this an indication of more serious problems in the body?
This substance is in fact a byproduct of the aluminium and fertilizer businesses and is classified as toxic waste so dangerous that it cannot be dumped. It is also used as an insecticide, in rat poison and as an ingredient in military nerve gas. A lethal dose of fluoride can in fact kill a human being in just two hours.
The toxicology report describes sodium fluoride as a “protoplasmic poison” which means that when it is dissolved in water it becomes readily absorbed through the mouth, throat and digestive tract. It can also be absorbed through the skin while you bathe and even inhaled.
The symptoms of fluoride poisoning are many and varied depending on exposure ranging from nausea, abdominal problems and sores to more serious problems like damage to the kidneys, thyroid gland, pineal gland, bone cancer, osteoporosis and neurological damage.

5) It violates the Nuremberg code for human experimentation.
As stated by Dr. Peter Mansfield, a physician from the UK and advisory board member of the recent government review of fluoridation (McDonagh et al 2000):
“No physician in his right senses would prescribe for a person he has never met, whose medical history he does not know, a substance which is intended to create bodily change, with the advice: ‘Take as much as you like, but you will take it for the rest of your life because some children suffer from tooth decay. ‘ It is a preposterous notion.”
Water Fluoridation is INEFFECTIVE [for dental health] because:
1) Major dental researchers concede that fluoride’s benefits are topical not systemic (Fejerskov 1981; Carlos 1983; CDC 1999, 2001; Limeback 1999; Locker 1999; Featherstone 2000).
2) Major dental researchers also concede that fluoride is ineffective at preventing pit and fissure tooth decay, which is 85% of the tooth decay experienced by children (JADA 1984; Gray 1987; White 1993; Pinkham 1999).
3) Several studies indicate that dental decay is coming down just as fast, if not faster, in non-fluoridated industrialized countries as fluoridated ones (Diesendorf, 1986; Colquhoun, 1994; World Health Organization, Online).
4) The largest survey conducted in the US showed only a minute difference in tooth decay between children who had lived all their lives in fluoridated compared to non-fluoridated communities. The difference was not clinically significant nor shown to be statistically significant (Brunelle & Carlos, 1990).
5) The worst tooth decay in the United States occurs in the poor neighborhoods of our largest cities, the vast majority of which have been fluoridated for decades.
6) When fluoridation has been halted in communities in Finland, former East Germany, Cuba and Canada, tooth decay did not go up but continued to go down (Maupome et al, 2001; Kunzel and Fischer, 1997, 2000; Kunzel et al, 2000 and Seppa et al, 2000).”

This short article was published in the Daily Mail today. It's a long time since I blogged, so I thought I'd include it for your enjoyment.

The statin manufacturers have always denied that their products have side effects. They have been so convincing that many doctors have simply refused to hear their patient's complaints.

Now there is a new cholesterol-lowering drug in the offing. I don't propose to discuss the merits or otherwise of lowering cholesterol; I'm sure you kmnow my feelings on that. I just want to show you how this new drug is being promoted: "free of the side-effects associated with statins."

So after denying that statins had side effects, the fact that they have is going to be used to launch this new drug.

I wonder what side effects this new drug will have. There are always some.

For 30 years, aspartame (AminoSweet, Equal, NutraSweet, Spoonful, Canderel, E951, Benevia, etc.) has caused sickness and death in 100 countries.

In the beginning, the FDA tried to get G. D. Searle indicted for submitting fraudulent studies that did everything from filtering out the neoplasms to excising brain tumors, and putting dead rats back in the study and resurrected them on paper. This failed because the lawyers for the manufacturer hired the two federal prosecutors.

Next the FDA Board of Inquiry revoked the petition for aspartame approval. Don Rumsfeld, CEO of the manufacturer, G. D. Searle Co. called in his political markers to get aspartame on the market anyway. Rumsfeld was close to Ronald Reagan and the night after his inauguration Reagan had upright FDA Commissioner, Jere Goyan, fired. Then he appointed Arthur Hull Hayes as FDA Commissioner.
Hayes over-ruled the Board of Inquiry and let slip the hounds of disease, disability and death on an unwarned innocent world population.

Immediately, the devastations began: MS symptoms, lupus, loss of vision, brain tumors, migraines, confusions and a rampage of ADD, ADHD, autism, birth defects and psychiatric problems. Diabetics complained of blood sugar being out of control, confusion and convulsions. In 1985, Monsanto bought G. D. Searle. Senator Howard Metzenbaum called for congressional hearings, which Senator Orin Hatch fought to prevent. Finally, there were hearings in 1985 & 1987. Hatch took money from Monsanto, and Metzenbaum's bill which would have put a moratorium on aspartame until NIH did independent studies died in committee.

H. J. Roberts, M.D., in a 1990 press conference warned: "I think it would be a tragedy if this issue is ignored since we could be inviting disastrous medical, psychological and neurological problems. I hope I'm wrong. But let's look at the problem NOW instead of in five or 10 years when we might be having a medical plague on our hands."

With five of the countries suspending vaccines that the giant, Glaxo Smith Kline, have developed, it seems that the company GSK cannot seem to get their vaccines right at all this year. The first vaccine to present problems for GSK was the Rotarix vaccine. This vaccine is supposed to protect us from the Rotavirus, a virus which causes severe diarrhoea and sickness, particularly in very young children.

US for Gardasil recipients. As of Jun 2010 (4 years after it’s approval), 71 deaths of girls & young women, along with over 18000 side effects had been reported to the FDA via the ‘VAERS*’ system (these incidents are probably greatly underreported*).

I WISH to comment on the scandal of vaccine trials in Ireland. I have met victims of these trials – some of them have suffered ill health since they were used for vaccine trials as babies.

Scandals associated with vaccines and vaccine practices in Ireland are inevitable because of the nature of vaccine policy here.

Vaccines, like any other medicine, are sometimes effective and sometimes not; they are sometimes safe and sometimes not. Sometimes they are tested ethically and sufficiently and sometimes they are not.

However the negatives are always kept hidden. Public health campaigns like the recent campaign promoting the H1N1 flu jab present a rosy picture that ignores the full reality and anyone who tries to provide balance is accused of putting lives at risk.

Unfortunately it seems the only way to learn there can be a darker side to immunisation is through personal experience. My son was born healthy and normal, but he was profoundly disabled by a vaccine. I am not anti-vaccine, but I am strongly in favour of full and honest information about vaccines so that a person or, in the case of children, parents can make an informed decision on whether a particular vaccine is right for them or their child. Instead of one-sided pamphlets extolling the wonders of the latest vaccine, people making the decision to jab or not should have accurate information on the positive and the negatives of the vaccine.

On May 19^th, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) called on “Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community, and the public to avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible and provide educational materials concerning GM foods and health risks.”[1] They called for a moratorium on GM foods, long-term independent studies, and labeling. AAEM’s position paper stated, “Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food,” including infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system. They conclude, “There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation,” as defined by recognized scientific criteria. “The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.”

More and more doctors are already prescribing GM-free diets. Dr. Amy Dean, a Michigan internal medicine specialist, and board member of AAEM says, “I strongly recommend patients eat strictly non-genetically modified foods.” Ohio allergist Dr. John Boyles says “I used to test for soy allergies all the time, but now that soy is genetically engineered, it is so dangerous that I tell people never to eat it.”

Dr. Jennifer Armstrong, President of AAEM, says, “Physicians are probably seeing the effects in their patients, but need to know how to ask the right questions.” World renowned biologist Pushpa M. Bhargava goes one step further. After reviewing more than 600 scientific journals, he concludes that genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are a major contributor to the sharply deteriorating health of Americans.

Cowpox vaccine was believed able to immunize people against smallpox. At the time this vaccine was introduced, there was already a decline in the number of cases of smallpox. Japan introduced compulsory vaccination in 1872. In 1892 there were 165,774 cases of smallpox with 29,979 deaths despite the vaccination program. A stringent compulsory smallpox vaccine program, which prosecuted those refusing the vaccine, was instituted in England in 1867. Within 4 years 97.5 % of persons between 2 and 50 had been vaccinated. The following year England experienced the worst smallpox epidemic[1] in its history with 44,840 deaths. Between 1871 and 1880 the incidence of smallpox escalated from 28 to 46 per 100,000. The smallpox vaccine does not work.

Much of the success attributed to vaccination programs may actually have been due to improvement in public health related to water quality and sanitation, less crowded living conditions, better nutrition, and higher standards of living. Typically the incidence of a disease was clearly declining before the vaccine for that disease was introduced. In England the incidence of polio had decreased by 82 % before the polio vaccine was introduced in 1956.

In the early 1900s an astute Indiana physician, Dr. W.B. Clarke, stated "Cancer was practically unknown until compulsory vaccination with cowpox vaccine began to be introduced. I have had to deal with two hundred cases of cancer, and I never saw a case of cancer in an unvaccinated[2] person."

There is a widely held belief that vaccines should not be criticized because the public might refuse to take them. This is valid only if the benefits exceed the known risks of the vaccines.

Do Vaccines Actually Prevent Disease?

This important question does not appear to have ever been adequately studied. Vaccines are enormously profitable for drug companies and recent legislation in the U.S. has exempted lawsuits against pharmaceutical firms in the event of adverse reactions to vaccines which are very common. In 1975 Germany stopped requiring pertussis (whooping cough) vaccination. Today less than 10 % of German children are vaccinated against pertussis. The number of cases of pertussis has steadily decreased[3] even though far fewer children are receiving pertussis vaccine.

Measles outbreaks have occurred in schools with vaccination rates over 98 % in all parts of the U.S. including areas that had reported no cases of measles for years. As measles immunization rates rise to high levels measles becomes a disease seen only in vaccinated persons. An outbreak of measles occurred in a school where 100 % of the children had been vaccinated. Measles mortality rates had declined by 97 % in England before measles vaccination was instituted.

Feinstein’s admonition, however, didn’t register in the Senate — a provision she offered on Bisphenol A didn’t make it into a bipartisan food safety compromise unveiled earlier this month.

Feinstein’s effort underscores the fact the American public is finally waking up to the toxic cornucopia in our food and pharmaceuticals.

From Britain to Finland, people are beginning understand the horrific effects of vaccines. On Wednesday, Paul Joseph Watson reported on Finland’s National Institute for Health and Welfare suspending use of the H1N1 vaccine over fears that the shot is linked with a 300 per cent increase in cases of the neurological disorder narcolepsy among children and young people over the last six months.

British doctors are now being advised to stock alternatives to seasonal vaccines for children under five. “The action is being taken as rate of convulsions caused by high fever among children in Australia given the jab was ten times higher than normal,” a medical editor for the Telegraph reported on July 31.

Vaccine programmes grind to a halt in India once more, when four children died after they received the measles vaccination in Lucknow. The four children were reported to have fainted soon after they were vaccinated and witnesses reported seeing the children’s eyes roll back as they began to have seizures. All of the children were under the age of two years of age, with the youngest being just six months. Sadly the children died before medical aid workers could reach them.

As news of the deaths spread, immunization drives in 41 villages have been halted until further investigations have taken place.

The Indian Express stated in their article “4 children die within minutes of vaccination” that-
“The immunisation programme was being conducted as part of the government’s Jachha Bachha Suraksha Abhiyan launched on August 15. Minutes after vaccination, the children started gasping for breath.”

NDTV reported that the Health Ministry has ordered an inquiry after the four infants, all now believed to be below nine months, died after the vaccine. The inquiry team has yet to reach Uttar Pradesh, however, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced compensation for the families of the victims.
This is not the first report of adverse reactions after the measles vaccination. The measles vaccine has had a dubious and rather tainted history. In the UK, a government report dating back to 1968 , exposed on the website VacTruth.com in May of this year stated:-

At least 15 cases of narcolepsy among children and young people in past six months

The possibility of compensations for children and young people diagnosed with narcolepsy recently is to be assessed later if a link between the disease and the swine flu vaccine is established, says Minister of Social Services Paula Risikko (Nat. Coalition Party).
      “The matter must be evaluated when all studies have been made. Experts insist that if the illnesses and the vaccinations have a connection, we will find out.”
      “I understand the pain of the families and the seriousness of the situation, but it is too early to take a stand on who has responsibility to compensate.”

The National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) decided on Tuesday to recommend that vaccinations against swine flu with the Pandemix vaccine should be suspended until it is established whether or not the vaccine is the cause of the surge in cases of narcolepsy among children and young people.
      By Tuesday, 15 new cases of the disease, which causes the sufferer to suddenly fall asleep without warning, had been diagnosed among children aged 5 to 16 since December. There is a clear time correlation between the cases and the swine flu vaccinations.
      In addition to the confirmed cases, there are some where the disease is suspected are being studied.

Normally about six cases of narcolepsy among children and young people are diagnosed each year in Finland.
      An unusually large number of patients have also been diagnosed with narcolepsy in Sweden after vaccinations for swine flu had been administered. There is no information of new cases in other countries.

They say there’s no money in healthy people. But, why is the pharmaceutical industry the most profitable industry in the world? It is because they have mastered the art of concocting the disorder, creating the drug for the disorder and then bombarding the public with advertisements to convince them they’re afflicted, leaving little choice but to get “prescribed”.

The growth in the pharmaceutical industry began to expand towards the 1970s. Pharmaceutical companies began to form mutual partnerships and began dominating the production of medicines. Advertising boomed making it possible for consumers to be enticed into believing there were miracle cures or drugs that would make people look young forever, increase sexual libido, maintain youthful looking skin with zero after effects or side effects.

Companies spend billions on “inventing” new drugs…they also spend billions on marketing them, USD53billion to be precise. But, how “innovative” are these companies? Most research and clinical trials are carried out at universities and funded by Governments. What happens thereafter is that drug companies “buy these innovations” and quickly patent them and quickly set up manufacturing plants. The only “innovation” done by these companies is to modify the existing drug something as minor as changing the color of the coating! A patented drug generally lasts for 20 years. It is only after rigorous study and testing which takes a good 10 to 15 years that Governmental authorities grant permission to market and sell drugs.

Loopholes in patent systems ensure companies are able to keep generic competitors at bay for years. These patented branded drugs naturally provides high profit margins but before the patent expires and competitors enter with a generic drug sold at far lesser prices, owners of branded drugs put out a generic version before the branded version expires…giving his company a head start in the sale of generic drugs. In 2006, the world had spent US$643billion on prescription drugs with US accounting for almost half of global pharmaceutical market. The US pharmaceutical industry is the most profitable of all businesses in the US.

It would not surprise anyone that companies spent up to $11billion annually on free samples, $6billion on sales representatives, $3billion on vague advertisements, we can only guess how many more billions is spent on bribing doctors, bribing researchers, bribing universities, bribing health officers, pharmacists, providing kickbacks and even running bogus “medical education” programs.

Essentially, what drug companies’ end up doing is using tax payer’s money to pay for medical research which they buy off, they then spend on massive advertising campaigns aimed at misleading the public about the effects of these drugs and “encourage” doctors to prescribe them!

Scientists discover how substance controls actions of genes

Vitamin D protects the body against a range of serious illnesses by binding to the DNA of the body's cells and directly controlling the genes implicated in diseases such as multiple sclerosis, diabetes and cancer, a study suggests.

It is the first time that scientists have found direct evidence to suggest that the "sunshine vitamin", which is made by the skin in the presence of sunlight, directly controls a network of genes linked with a wide variety of serious disorders.

Although previous studies have linked vitamin D deficiency with a growing list of illnesses, especially the autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and type-1 diabetes, until now scientists have not been able to show how it could trigger so many different disorders.

The latest study suggests a possible mechanism by showing that vitamin D binds directly to parts of the human genome that house the genes known to be linked with these serious autoimmune disorders, which result from a person's immune system attacking the body's own tissues.

Vaccine trials on vulnerable Irish children

SUSPICIONS that vaccine trials had taken place on vulnerable Irish children -- many of whom were in state care -- first surfaced in the early 1990s.

As the current decade dawned, former residents of children's homes began to publicly raise concerns that they had been the subject of experimental trials.

However, it was not until 1997 that the State gave an assurance that it would formally inquire into the issue.
Brian Cowen, who was then Health Minister, directed the chief medical officer at the Department of Health, Dr James Kiely, to investigate the allegations.

In 2000, a report -- entitled the "Report On Three Clinical Trials Involving Babies And Children In Institutional Settings, 1960/61, 1970 and 1973" -- was finally drawn up.
The document found that 211 children had been administered vaccines during three separate vaccine trials conducted on behalf of a drugs company, The Wellcome Foundation.

More than 123 of these infants and toddlers were residents in children's homes in Dublin, Cork and the midlands when the trials took place in the 1960s and 1970s.

Trial one involved 58 children in five children's homes in Dublin, Cork, Westmeath and Meath. The trial investigated what would happen if four vaccines -- diphtheria, pertussis (also known as whooping cough), tetanus and polio -- were combined in one overall four-in-one shot.

Dr. R. Swinburne Clymer was in many ways a man ahead of his time, and most certainly controversial. He was attacked by the medical establishment for connecting diet with disease and mental health in his 1917 book Dietetics. Dr. Clymer received his medical degree in 1902 from the College of Medicine and Surgery in Chicago and began practicing Osteopathy. Accusations of fraud surround Dr. Clymer's career, including this 1923 edition of the Journal of the American Medical Association which claims that, "Our records fail to show that this man was ever regularly graduated by any reputable medical college." What Clymer had to say more than likely had something to do with the denouncement that he received from the medical establishment.
Though Dr. Clymer may be surrounded with controversy, his 1958 book Your Health and Sanity in the Age of Treason exposes toxic food additives and fluoride with documentation - the majority of which are mainstream scientific studies - that can be verified many times over. What makes this book unique is the fact that Dr. Clymer was one of the first to point out that statements by the elite indicated that these toxins were to be deliberately released "...for the mental deterioration and moral debasement of the mass..."
The book is appropriately subtitled; "Food and Liquids Used as a Medium in Deliberately and Carefully Planned Methods Developed by the Vicious Element of Humanity, for the Mental Deterioration and Moral Debasement of the Mass, as a Means Toward Their Enslavement."
Dr. Clymer introduces readers with a stark warning for the future, writing, "Imagine yourself if you can, becoming conscious that you are gradually losing your manhood; that your mind is rapidly deteriorating so that you are no longer capable of thinking clearly; unable to plan your future actions. Your resistance is becoming so weakened that you are no longer master of yourself. In short, you are rapidly developing into a moron, a robot, a zombie, readily subject to the dictates of others..."
Bertrand Russell's 1953 book The Impact of Science on Society is cited by Clymer as one example of the elite's desire to dominate the masses. Russell stated that under scientific tyranny, "Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible."
Diethylstilbestrol - Endocrine Disruption
Dr. Clymer identified the synthetic estrogen Diethylstilbestrol - developed in 1938 - as a means to achieve the aims of the elite. Clymer explains that some of the toxic additives discussed in the book may not have been employed for the express purpose outlined by the elite, but "...they served their purpose admirably..." Dr. Clymer elaborates,

"The employment of Stilbestrol by the laity with absolutely no knowledge of the dangerous agent they are employing, in conditioning chickens and meats, is mass medication without license, with a dangerous toxic drug that may have universal disastrous results on all who eat such adulterated foods. This is especially true as it concerns children, youths, young women and men, resulting as it may, in their sterilization or cancer - something fervently hoped for by the enemies of mankind."

Because Stilbestrol is a synthetic chemical, "...the natural protective activity of the bodily organs are ineffective in prohibiting harmful results. Natural Estrogen, on the other hand, is decomposed, and any of its possible harmful effects may be more or less made ineffective," writes Dr. Clymer. Stilbestrol was used as a treatment for various types of cancer and menopausal symptoms, but as Dr. Clymer states, "Physicians versed in the use of Endocrines agree generally that Stilbestrol is a dangerous drug in all except experienced hands."
Dr. E. Malcolm Stokes, in an article published in the Western Journal of Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, September 1948, wrote: "Single large doses of [natural] estrogen substances are quickly excreted... long continued, repeated administration in relatively small doses [as in daily consumption of meats permeated with stilbestrol] may intensify tissue response to the hormone."
Dr. Clymer warns that such chemicals are to feminize men,

"Every vigilant human being should be concerned with several important factors involved: The methods or means by which it is possible to change man's characteristics as easily as the animal's. Man is a warrior by nature, the protector of his family, and his own rights and privileges; an individual, a free man... A being who has wrought great things and who, if not interfered with, will do even greater things. This being is to be turned into a lesser female; unable, even unwilling, to defend himself, much less his family or country; becoming a slave..."

Dr. Clymer's concerns over Stilbestrol have been vindicated over time, as the chemical has been phased out of use as a growth hormone in the late 1970's due to concerns over cancer. Additionally, in 1971 the FDA advised physicians to stop prescribing Stilbestrol to pregnant women due to high cancer risk. The drug is no longer being manufactured as of 1997.

Here are the 6 incredulously bold misstatements, prevarications, and outright lies addressed in turn:

1.. Saturated fat is bad.
2.. Unsaturated vegetable oil is good.
3.. Trans-fatty acids are now considered as bad as saturated fat.
4.. Margarine is more healthful than butter.
5.. Coconut oil is bad.
6.. MonoUnsat. Canola oil is better than MonoUnsat. olive oil.

1.. Saturated fat (SatFat) is "bad"? How can that be, reader, when SatFat is your body's material of choice for the majority of fat's very synergistic and necessary physiological "jobs." Indeed, the only SatFat remotely bad for you is oxidized fat damaged as a result of high heat, lengthy air exposure, or food processing.

Consider. If undamaged SatFat was heart unhealthy there would be a lot of dead Blubber-Eating Eskimos riddled with heart and vascular disease... when in fact they have lowest incidence of heart disease on the planet! SatFat's not bad for them!

Many prominent scientists and authors have on various occasions stated that in the future, the common people would be manipulated through chemicals in their food, water and injections, to suit the needs of the people that govern them.

In his 1931 book, the Scientific Outlook, Bertrand Russell wrote:

“Perhaps by means of injections and drugs and chemicals the population could be induced to bear whatever its scientific masters may decide to be for its good.”

One of the most famous examples of the idea of biochemical manipulation of the underclass was raised in Brave New World by Aldous Huxley in 1932. In Brave New World, the lower classes are exposed to a variety of chemicals before they are "born" that reduce their intelligence and adult height, and prepare them for the role they will fullfil when they grow up. Alcohol is used, lower castes receive less oxygen, and they are exposed to x-rays. The lower castes are also exposed to certain hormones to make them infertile. 70% of women are exposed in the womb to male hormones, and turned into so called "freemartins", sterilized women who exhibit masculine behavior.

Bertrand Russel wrote in 1952 in "the impact of science on Society", that:
Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible.

The report by a group, including paediatricians, professors, health activists and a former Indian health secretary, cautions against the introduction of the five-in-one vaccine that combines antigens against five diseases - diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus (DPT), hepatitis B and Haemophilus Influenzae type B (HIB) - in a single shot. 'Our article describes how the World Health Organisation (WHO), in an elaborate cover-up, changed its own criteria for classifying adverse effects to say the vaccine was not responsible for the deaths in Sri Lanka,' Jacob Puliyel, head of paediatrics at St Stephen's Hospital in Delhi and key author, told IANS. Bhutan has so far resisted pressure from WHO to restart immunisation but Sri Lanka reintroduced the vaccine this year after a WHO expert panel, which investigated the events, declared that the vaccine was 'unlikely' to have caused the deaths. The panel, however, could not conclusively attribute the deaths to any other cause. Puliyel and co-authors who obtained the full report of the investigation say the WHO panel in Sri Lanka did not follow the standard protocol of the UN agency for classification of adverse events following immunisation but instead used its own method. The authors point out that the Sri Lankan deaths would have been classified as 'very likely' or 'probably' related to the vaccine, had the standard WHO classification been employed. Changing its own criteria for classifying adverse effects following vaccination is 'an elaborate cover up' by WHO to remove any connection between pentavalent vaccine and the deaths in Sri Lanka, alleges Puliyel.

7. Vaccine Jab Claims Multiple Lives

MUMBAI: With the death of a five-month-old boy from Andheri (W) last week, the civic body has recorded three children's deaths this year that occurred soon after routine immunisation. So far, about 16 deaths following immunisation, have been reported from across the state. The infant who died two days after he was injected the DPT (diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus) vaccine, had bouts of fever. "These are isolated cases so there was no question of recalling vaccine batches," Dr Mangala Gomare, immunisation in-charge, said. Besides three deaths, there have also been 27 cases till July where children have required hospitalisation after immunisation. Most of the deaths last year occurred from DPT immunisation. In 2009, there were five deaths in the city, following immunisation, of which four occurred after DPT was injected.

8. UK Doctors Warned Of Flu Vaccine Convulsion Risk

GPs are being warned of an increased risk of febrile convulsions in children under five when using Pfizer's seasonal flu vaccine. The Department of Health issued a letter to all GPs and PCT immunisation coordinators warning of a risk, first deduced from epidemiological data from Australia, of a ‘higher than expected increase in febrile convulsions in children related to the use of Fluvax.' Fluvax is used in the Australian 2010/11 flu vaccination campaign, and is the same product marketed in the UK by Pfizer as Enzira and is the same as the generic influenza vaccine that will be used in the 2010/11 UK seasonal flu vaccination campaign. The cause of the unexpected increased frequency of febrile convulsions remains unknown and investigations continue.

Pancreatic tumor cells use fructose to divide and proliferate, U.S. researchers said on Monday in a study that challenges the common wisdom that all sugars are the same. Tumor cells fed both glucose and fructose used the two sugars in two different ways, the team at the University of California Los Angeles found.
They said their finding, published in the journal Cancer Research, may help explain other studies that have linked fructose intake with pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest cancer types.
“These findings show that cancer cells can readily metabolize fructose to increase proliferation,” Dr. Anthony Heaney of UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center and colleagues wrote.
“They have major significance for cancer patients given dietary refined fructose consumption, and indicate that efforts to reduce refined fructose intake or inhibit fructose-mediated actions may disrupt cancer growth.”
Americans take in large amounts of fructose, mainly in high fructose corn syrup, a mix of fructose and glucose that is used in soft drinks, bread and a range of other foods.
Politicians, regulators, health experts and the industry have debated whether high fructose corn syrup and other ingredients have been helping make Americans fatter and less healthy.

U.S. health authorities are holding off approval of this year's seasonal flu shot as they probe Australia's ban on the vaccine, which has been found to induce fever in young children, The Australian reported Thursday.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is collaborating with Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to "assess any potential implications for the U.S. flu season."

The FDA has also written to Australian pharmaceutical giant CSL — which manufactures the controversial Fluvax vaccine — detailing its "number of significant objectionable conditions" relating to CSL's compliance with American "good manufacturing practice."

FDA investigators observed "deviations" from U.S. manufacturing standards in CSL's production of both seasonal flu and swine flu vaccines for the U.S. market.

The TGA admitted that vials of multi-dose swine flu vaccine Panvax, stockpiled by the Australian federal government, contain the same preservative that is the subject of the FDA's concerns.

"However, there are no related reports of adverse events arising from its use,'' a TGA spokeswoman said. A CSL spokeswoman said discoloration had been noticed in Australian Panvax stocks.

The FDA's director of compliance and biologics quality, Mary Malarkey, issued a scathing assessment after the FDA's annual audit of CSL's Melbourne laboratory in April.

The audit was carried out the week Australian authorities suspended use of the Fluvax vaccine after it triggered febrile fits in nearly one percent of children younger than five.

Deficiencies have been uncovered at 98 per cent of the pharmaceutical laboratories audited by the drugs regulator in the past year.

The federal government's Therapeutic Goods Administration yesterday revealed that only three of the 139 labs it audited last financial year were problem-free.

"Deficiencies were identified in 136 of the 139 sites manufacturing medicines, requiring corrective action by the manufacturer," a TGA spokeswoman told The Australian. "All identified deficiencies are corrected following audit, with some requiring follow-up audits to verify and confirm that implementation has been effective."

The TGA refused to provide a list of the facilities audited, the deficiencies, how many had been rectified and whether the TGA had been forced to take any other regulatory action.

The TGA confirmed it was "evaluating matters" arising from last month's audit of CSL -- which produced vaccines for swine flu and seasonal flu -- following a scathing assessment by the US Food and Drug Administration of some manufacturing methods.

"The (TGA) inspection covered the full manufacture of influenza vaccines from seed lot to filling of vials and syringes, and reviewed CSL's investigations and corrective actions arising from the US FDA investigation," the TGA said.The TGA refused to give more details on the grounds it had not finalised its report and wanted to let CSL respond.

The federal government paid CSL $131 million last year for a stockpile of 21 million doses of the swine flu vaccine Panvax, as well as $9m to conduct clinical trials, the government's contracting website reveals.

But the TGA is now investigating the cause of discolouration affecting some multi-dose vials of Panvax -- a problem it became aware of only after the FDA blew the whistle during its own audit of CSL in April. The TGA has proclaimed Panvax to be safe, even though it still does not know the cause of the discolouration.
The TGA is conducting a separate inquiry into CSL's seasonal flu shot -- a world-first combination of swine and seasonal flu strains in a single vaccine.

The seasonal flu jab has been suspended for use in healthy under-fives since April, when it was found to trigger febrile fits in young children at nine times the expected rate.

In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled "Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview" Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed.

According to the Clark and George-Ares report, Corexit mixed with the higher gulf coast water temperatures becomes even more toxic.
